Welcome to this charming, well-situated cottage, offering a secluded setting amidst nature. The cottage features spacious, lovely lawn areas perfect for games and play, as well as for rest and relaxation. Within a 20-minute walk, you reach the Gullmarsfjord—Sweden’s largest fjord—and the fantastic, child-friendly sandy beach at Gårvik. The beach area is surrounded by lawns ideal for picnics and offers great saltwater swimming and a summer kiosk; there are also excellent opportunities for fishing or launching a kayak to explore the fjord’s many coves and shores on your own. The local area boasts a viewpoint with sweeping vistas of the fjord and surrounding landscape, as well as one of Sweden’s largest and most fascinating rock-carving sites. The Örekil River flows through Munkedal and is a popular spot for salmon fishing; many angling enthusiasts have tried their luck here over the years. Nearby lies Torreby Golf Course—Bohuslän’s oldest—situated in a grand estate setting featuring an English-style manor park.

Entering through the front door, you step into a small, welcoming hallway that opens into a spacious, pleasant open-plan living area. This includes a kitchen equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, and kettle; a dining area with a dining set; and a living room featuring a large, comfortable sofa and a TV. There is a bathroom with a shower, plus a separate toilet with a washing machine. Two bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed. From the hallway, a staircase leads up to the cottage's second floor—which has a ceiling height of 1.90 meters—where the third bedroom is located, featuring both a single bed and a double bed. Near the entrance, you will find the deck area, complete with outdoor furniture and a barbecue—a lovely spot for good conversation while grilling a delicious meal and enjoying a nice drink. The lawn outside offers plenty of space for games and play; for the children, there is a trampoline and a rope swing hanging from a tree. Thanks to the cottage's location close to nature, you may also be visited by various animals, such as roe deer.

Munkedal Municipality boasts diverse and worthwhile natural areas, ranging from coastal and fjord landscapes to deep forests, lakes, and rivers. A 40-kilometer-long paddling route winds through lakes and waterways starting from the Kaserna Canoe Center, offering a fantastic opportunity to explore a beautiful part of the local area. From the cottage, you can also easily reach other municipalities and interesting destinations; for instance, take the local road past Saltkällan, Skredsvik, and Rotviksbro, stopping at "Två Fröknar"—a cozy shop selling home décor and clothing. Nearby lies the restaurant Stallgården, which also sells organic produce in its shop, "Stallgårdens Skafferi." Afterward, continue with some shopping at Torp Shopping Center, or perhaps visit the Bohuslän Museum. The cottage also serves as a convenient base for day trips to Nordens Ark, Havets Hus in Lysekil, Smögenbryggan, and the fishing and sailing communities in northern Bohuslän.
