The 50-square-meter holiday apartment on the island of Rolløya, 7 km north of Hamnvik. is in a semi-detached house containing two separate units, designed to ensure privacy from one another. The house was completely renovated in 2025 and features new furniture and appliances, pleasant bedrooms (one with a king-size bed, the other with twin beds), and a living room with a view of the fjord. The area offers numerous hiking opportunities, ranging from challenging mountain summit treks to easier walks in the lowlands. The landscape is characterized by high peaks and sheer mountain slopes, alongside a lush coastline teeming with birdlife—perfect for strolling along the shore and breathing in the salty sea air. In Hamnvik, you will find a floodlit trail and groomed cross-country ski tracks.

Bolla is a traditional fishing village with approximately 150 permanent residents, where the seafood industry is the primary economic driver. On the neighboring island of Andørja, you will find Arctic Aqua at Engenes—a seafood visitor center—which is accessible by car via a tunnel. It also houses a popular seafood restaurant. Hamnvik itself boasts many well-preserved historic buildings and a supermarket with a good selection of goods. Fabeløya Nature Playground, located near Sørrollnes, is a popular and creative outdoor play area that also serves as an excellent vantage point for the Northern Lights. Stall Meyer, situated 4 km north of Hamnvik, offers horse-drawn carriage or sleigh rides, along with other outdoor activities set against a backdrop of beautiful natural scenery.

On weekdays, there are frequent ferry departures between Rolløya and Hinnøya (Harstad), with a travel time of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from Bolla to Harstad. There are fewer departures on weekends. The owner can provide pick-up from Harstad-Narvik Airport or Bardufoss Airport using a minibus (8 seats) and can also arrange guided tours, for example, to a husky or reindeer farm.
