This comfortable holiday home in Tautavel offers you a very quiet and charming apartment with two bedrooms, half an hour from the beaches of Barcarès or Canet-en-Roussillon, 30 minutes from Perpignan and 1 hour from Narbonne. Located upstairs, this charming cottage benefits from a huge garden with trees (to share with other vacationers) and a balcony opening onto nature. The garden furniture with private barbecue guarantees pleasant evenings and the well-equipped kitchen offers you the possibility of preparing your favorite dishes. It has an insert for winter and electric heating in the bedrooms. Firewood is provided! The property is very peacefully located and will be ideal for cycling and hiking. Tautavel is a beautiful village in the north-east of the Pyrénées-Orientales, a little away from the world, at the bottom of a narrow valley. However, it is known worldwide, because it is here that the oldest European in history was found. Consequently, a large archaeological museum can be visited on site, as well as a cave, and at the top, a castle and the Torre del Far, "the sentinel of Roussillon". Stroll through the streets and relax in the shade of the plane trees. Further on, don't miss a visit to the narrow Gorges de Gouleyrous, impressive with the gray color of the rocks and their rounded shapes, hollowed out by the current. There is paid parking and a refreshment bar, but you can still lie down on the pebbles to enjoy the freshness of the transparent water. Castles, belvederes, priories, medieval villages, gorges are legion here, and why not take the Cerdagne Yellow Train, visit the Sigean Animal Reserve, or spend a pleasant time at the thermal baths of Amélie-les-Bains or Boulou ? It's difficult to be bored in this region despite the tranquility offered by this beautiful holiday home!
