This elegant Périgord house from 1890, located just 3 km from Villefranche-du-Périgord, offers a tranquil retreat surrounded by cornfields, chestnut forests, and rolling countryside views. Enjoy peaceful mornings on the terrace or explore the nearby medieval bastide towns, including Monpazier (19 km), Belvès (23 km), Villeréal (33 km), and Monflanquin (35 km). For nature lovers, swimming lakes at Prats-du-Périgord (10 km), Frayssinet (12 km), and Cazals (16 km) offer refreshing escapes. History buffs will appreciate the prehistoric caves of Les Eyzies-de-Tayac (43 km) and the archaeological museums housed there. This stone house is a whole vibe! Private pool hits different, especially after exploring all the cute medieval towns nearby, The fireplace is perfect for chill nights, 10/10 would recommend for a getaway

Het is een oude boerderij met ook dito inrichting. Alle kasten zitten vol met van alles en nog wat, dus voordat je je eigen spullen (boodschappen, kleding) in de kasten kwijt wil moet je eerst wat planken leegmaken. H

Ontvangst was gastelijk door de eigenaar we voelden ons welkom. Het huis op zich is aan de oude kant maar alles is aanwezig om er een leuke vakantie van te maken, we leven toch meer buiten dan binnen en dan heb je nog het prachtige zwembad. De omgeving waar het huis staat is zeer rustig en je hebt vanalles om te bezoeken.

Prachtige omgeving, leuk verblijf. We hebben erg genoten van een weekje Dordogne. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. De tuin is geweldig evenals het zwembad. De eigenaar is bijzonder vriendelijk en komt elke dag langs om het zwembad na te kijken. We hebben heerlijk gewandeld in Besse en mooie, oude dorpjes in de omgeving bekeken. Kanoen op de Dordogne is een absolute aanrader evenals een bezoekje aan het plaatsje Sarlat. De laatste dag van ons verblijf hebben we kasteel Bonaguil bezocht. Ook een aanrader. Topvakantie!

De eigenaars waren zeer vriendelijk. Het huisje was gezellig maar sommige dingen aan vernieuwing toe. Zeer landelijk gelegen waardoor moeilijk boodschappen te doen wel kleine winkeltjes in het dorpje. Dit is perfect voor mensen die voor de rust op vakantie gaan.

De accommodatie ligt lekker rustig gelegen. Het zwembad is heerlijk groot en goed onderhouden. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en helpt je als dit nodig is. Huisje is prima, heeft alle voorzieningen, maar is wel wat ouderwets. Prima huis voor die prijs

Fijne ontvangst. Heel behulpzame eigenaar! Fles wijn en fruitsap bij aankomst. Oud interieur maar alles wat nodig is, is aanwezig. Spijtig dat het zwembad te koud was om echt van te genieten. Verwarming of een zeil zou een groot +punt zijn. Zeer rustig gelegen wat maakt dat je wel wat afstand moet overbruggen om iets te bezichtigen. Er is wel gelukkig een lokaal supermarktje en bakker op 2min. rijden.

We zijn zeer goed ontvangen door Dhr en Mevr Fombouze en hebben een onvergetelijke vakantie achter de rug , spijtig om naar België te moeten terugkeren . Het was wel even wennen aan het oubollig interieur maar zetels waren best comfortabel . De woning is prachtig gelegen en hebben erg genoten van het zwembad .

Alles was piekfijn in orde. Prachtige streek. Vanuit de locatie verschillende leuke uitstapjes gedaan (Gouffre de Padirac!, Rocamadour, Bouccle de Belpech, Sarlat!! en op de terugweg Oradour sur Glane). Alles was aanwezig in het huis. Bij ieder schuifje die we open deden was er 'kijk, dat hebben ze hier ook' van borden en pannen tot lucifers, aanmaakblokjes voor BBQ, vaatwasmachinetabletten, koffiefilters,... Zelfs een schuifje met allerlei documentatie voor uitstapjes. Het waren super sympathieke eigenaars na de lange tocht lagen koekjes voor de kinderen klaar, stond er fruitsap en wijn in de koelkast. Mijnheer kwam iedere ochtend het zwembad inspecteren, op de eerste ochtend stond er een fietsje aangepast aan onze jongste dochter, de derde ochtend stond er een emmertje met aardappeltjes, komkommer en salade uit zijn eigen moestuin. Het was een topvakantie!! Jammer dat het tijdens ons verblijf niet zo'n denderend weer was. 3 dagen bewolkt en 20-25 graden waardoor het water van het zalige privé zwembad niet echt kon opwarmen en waardoor we er niet ten volle konden van genieten. Toch hebben we, samen met onze dochters van 8 en 13, een fantastische vakantie gehad!!!

Het huis en de omgeving zijn prachtig vooral als je van rust en de natuur houdt. Het interieur is typisch frans en de eigenaar komt elke dag het zwembad doen en hij laat regelmatig ook wat groenten liggen uit eigen tuin. Verder zijn er in de omgeving genoegt leuke plaatsen en markten om naar toe te gaan.

This is not the easiest place to find-thank goodness for a few minutes spent on google street view before we went- but that is part of its charm. Really off the beaten track, one othe holiday home backing onto the site but with its own pool and the owners a field away. The pool is great u heated but sparkling and a great investment as our kids were happier there than going anywhere else. M et Mme Fombouze speak no English but are lovely, leaving wine, juice and biscuits on arrival and fruit and veg through the week. House hugely well stocked with kitchen equipment. A really peaceful place to stay.

Super geschikt voor mensen die rustig hun vakantie willen doorbrengen. Genoeg ruimte en een ruime keuken en moderne badkamer. Oubollig interieur dat wel eens mag vernieuwd worden maar geen storend element is voor een goede vakantie. Een proper en mooi zwembad dat door de eigenaar iedere morgen in orde gebracht werd. Supervriendelijke , behulpzame man . Deze villa is een aanrader!
