Activities in the area: The Bay of the Somme is a paradise for all outdoor activities. You can explore the landscape in numerous designated cycle paths and hiking trails or canoe and prawns. A small steam engine takes you around the bay from Le Crotoy to St. Valery-sur-Somme. Nature lovers can enjoy more than 300 different bird species in the Parc du Marquenterre on 250 hectares of dunes and forest areas. In your Lanchères holiday resort is a small bird museum to visit. Every Friday evening in high season there is a market for handicrafts and regional specialties in Saint-Valery. Lovers of seafood find countless bars and restaurants in Le Crotoy, but also everywhere, offering delicious seafood, often with crispy fries, in a rustic way
