Spacious Holiday Home in Ambiegna

House:
This completely renovated and very well equipped small house (45 m) is situated at the heart of a small, peaceful hamlet between the sea and the mountains, on a hill overlooking Sagone bay. The house comprises a bedroom for adults as well as a small childrens room with a studio couch, between the bedroom and the shower room, making it ideal for a couple with one or two children. Thanks to its hillside location, the house enjoys a beautiful view over the surrounding mountains. Nearby: La Scandola nature reserve (classified as the 13th world site by UNESCO), the Mediterranean inlets of Piana, Ajaccio, Sagone, Cargèse. The beaches are 17 km away.

General:
de straatjes in Ambiegna smal , routebeschrijving moesten we paar maal om vragen en was heel summier, service vanuit Topic travel lijkt achteruit te gaan

General:
Wij hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad, twee weken lang op prachtig Corsica. Gastvrije en hulpvaardige eigenaar, die regelmatig komt polsen of het goed gaat. Tegenover het huisje woont familie van de eigenaar en ook dit zijn vriendelijke mensen. Bracht ook versgeplukte groente van zijn tuin mee. Bakker komt vrijwel dagelijks langs, vriendelijke bevolking in het kleine dorpje. Heel mooie omgeving, veel rust, afwisselende natuur, vogels en uitzicht op de zee vanaf de top van de heuvel/berg. Keukentje is wel klein (beetje vreemde gootsteen), serre is heel ruim met een superdeluxe dubbeldeurs koelkast met ijsblokjes en koud water. Frans of Italiaans spreken is wel aanbevolen, hoewel je met Engels en handen en voeten en veel humor een eind komt.

General:
Corsica is fantastisch mooi. Deze accomodatie heeft hier qua omgeving en het liefelijk dorpje Ambiegna zeker aan bijgedragen. Heerlijk rustig bergdorpje en maar 20 minuten van de wat drukkere stranden en winkels. ( Sagone) Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Maar er staat heel veel aan prullaria waardoor het huis door de eigenaar zichtbaar moeilijk schoon te houden is. De slaapbank is echt aan vervanging toe. ( kan echt niet meer) Geen privacy. klein terrasje ligt direct aan een klein straatje op 3 meter van het huis van de eigenaar. Overigens zeer gastvriendelijke mensen en niet heel nadrukkelijk aanwezig. Het huis is te bereiken met de auto via een zeer steile smal weggetje. Op zich geen probleem maar kan voor sommige automobilisten een probleem zijn.

Prijs/kwaliteit van het huisje zeer goed, er is echter geen tuin en de volledig familie van de eigenaar woont aan de overkant van de straat (2m) waardoor privacy zo goed als onbestaande is, een gemiste kans.

General:
Whilst some distance from the main road and shops we would have no hesitation in recommending this to friends. Fresh bread is delivered 2 times every day to the door however. Mr.Poli was so helpful, the people in the village were so friendly (as we found with everyone on Corsica). We gather we were the first British to stay at this property, thankfully we can speak understandable (but not good!) French, as no-one spoke English. Rarely have we hated to finish our holiday so much. If we said that we would like to return to this property immediately we got home, does this give enough

General:
Een niet al te groot huis maar voorzien van comfort. ( airco!, goede keukeninrichting, prima badkamerfaciliteit). Ligging dicht tegen doorgaande straat wat soms wel eens de indruk geeft iets minder vrij te zitten op het terras(je) dat aan die straat grenst. Uitzicht prachtig. Omgeving prachtig. Kuststrook binnen goed autobereik. ( 20 min.)
