Imagine staying in luxury – surrounded by nature, close to the city, and just a stone's throw from the coast. Sounds too good to be true? Not here. In northern Sæby, you'll find this beautiful holiday apartment that truly offers the best of all worlds.

The apartment, accommodating 4 guests with flexible sleeping arrangements, is part of the main house on the idyllic farm HAVLUND, which was completely renovated in 2024. The apartment is bright and luxuriously furnished with attention to detail. Just 150 meters away is a child-friendly sandy beach on the calm Kattegat Sea. And within walking distance, via a beautiful beach promenade or cozy paths, you'll find Sæby's charming marina and lively town center.

The home is spread across two floors. On the ground floor, you’re welcomed by a stylish, brand-new kitchen that serves as a hub for cooking and enjoying meals together at the lovely dining area. A cozy sofa corner by the staircase invites relaxation and social time. There’s also a modern bathroom with a shower, washing machine, and dryer on this level.

Upstairs, two bright bedrooms and an additional toilet await – making this the perfect holiday home for families or friends traveling together.

Outside, there’s a lovely sunny terrace facing south and west, perfect for barbecues and long summer evenings with real Danish hygge.

GOOD TO KNOW:

From the 1. september 2025, there will be a construction work on the farm, which may cause some disturbance.  

During the summer period (until the end of August), yoga will take place on the lawn in front of the apartment every Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:30, weather permitting. As a guest in this holiday home, you are very welcome to join.


No rentals to youth groups. The tenant must be at least 25 years old and present during the entire stay.
Distance to coast: 150 meters
Flexible bedrooms: One with 2 single beds (80 cm wide), and one with 2 single beds (90 cm wide). All beds can be joined to create doubles.
TV is a smart TV with built-in Chromecast
Non-smoking accommodation
Free parking for 2 cars. Charging electric vehicles is not possible, but there are several charging stations in and around Sæby.

The nearest grocery store is 800 meters from the property.

THE AREA:
The house is centrally located in the charming coastal town of Sæby, which is well worth exploring. It's a picturesque market town offering good shopping opportunities and local attractions. In summer, the harbour is full of sailboats, and you can buy ice cream and fresh fish. The maritime atmosphere, with its cafés and small shops, is full of life.

Sæby celebrated its 500th anniversary as a market town in 2024. In the historic town centre, you’ll find the abbey church, Sæby Miniby (a miniature village with houses from around 1900), the Coastal Museum, Sæby Watermill, and several local artisans around Algade.

On the outskirts of town, you’ll find a beautiful 18-hole golf course and Sæbygård Castle – both worth a visit.

The Coastal Museum has branches in Sæby, Frederikshavn, and Skagen, and tells the story of life by the sea – past and present. In Sæby, both Sæby Miniby and Sæbygård contribute to the local history.

About 10 km to the north lies Frederikshavn, where the Palm Beach (Palmestranden) is a must-see. The Bangsbo area also offers wonderful experiences, including a viewpoint, Botanical Garden, Deer Park, and excellent hiking and biking trails.

If you head even further north, Skagen has much to offer – including Grenen, where the two seas meet, and the famous Skagen Museums. Families with teddy bear fans will love the cozy Teddy Bear Museum. Other must-sees include The Grey Lighthouse (Det Grå Fyr), The Buried Church (Den Tilsandede Kirke), and Råbjerg Mile – all unforgettable experiences.

Sæby is also ideally located as a base for exploring the many attractions of North Jutland.
