Afterwards, enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner while the evening sun colors the sky orange-red over the dunes. If you’d like to watch the sunset from the beach or from the top of a dune, it’s only a 10–15 minute walk away. Afterwards, you can rinse the sand off your toes under the outdoor shower, available from April to November.

Ringkøbing Fjord is just a five-minute walk away, where you might even catch your own dinner at the small harbor. You can clean your catch at the outdoor sink located behind the house.

You can also explore nearby towns and attractions by bike—about 15 km along the cycle path in one direction takes you to Bork Viking Harbour. About 15 km in the other direction brings you to the harbor in Hvide Sande, where you can experience a fish auction, visit Fiskeriets Hus, or take a trip out to sea on a fishing boat.
