Hotel - 2 persons - L3 9AG - Liverpool

Nice hotel and great location by the harbour. My room was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable and so I was able to get a really good sleep. The shower was also pretty good and, unlike many other hotels I’ve stayed in, you didn’t get lots of water splashing outside onto the bathroom floor! The room also had an espresso machine, although I didn’t try that. The stuff I talk to were also very friendly and the check-in and check out experience was very easy. However, the Aircon in my room didn’t seem to work too well, the fridge was not working properly, the bathroom sink was blocked and draining very slowly and the clothes hook on the inside of the bathroom door was missing and there were just a series of drilled holes where the hook would’ve been. Also, the doors just looked a bit tired and probably need a revamp. There is a safe in the room, which is great, as well as as an ironing board and iron. My iron kept seeming to spill out lots of water and seem to be leaving small particles on my clothes, but thankfully I was ironing my Top inside out at the time. The breakfast options were quite limited, especially if someone like me who’s gluten-free, however it was only £13 and paid in advance. And the coffee from the machine was pretty terrible! When I visited two of the three lifts were out of order so you had to wait longer for a lift, but that is not the hotel‘s fault. On balance, the issues I had were relatively minor, so I I would be happy to stay here again. I can’t say much about the hotel facilities as I did not spend much time there at all.
