Woodside offers a tranquil stay for four in a traditional stone fronted Yorkshire village cottage, in Grewelthorpe, near Masham.

Ideal for two couples or a family visit, the ground floor features a contemporary style and design with light and airy lounge featuring a woodburning stove to keep you warm when the nights get cooler. Guests have use of a smart TV and Wi-Fi with a selection of DVDs, books and games ideal for family night in!

There is a well-equipped kitchen ideal for a self-catering stay, including dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs there are two en suite bedrooms with walk in showers; the first a double with TV, whilst the second has twin beds also with a TV and ensuite shower room.

Experience nearby Hackfall woods with 120 acres of natural beauty owned by the woodland trust, a lane at the back of the cottages leads to the woods and is an excellent place to walk your dog. The historic city of Ripon is a mere 6 miles away, and includes a notable cathedral, a bustling weekly market, an international music festival and Ripon Races. Explore the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, Harrogate, Knaresborough or York. You are only 3 miles to Masham where there is a small market on Wednesday and Saturday.

Within Grewelthorpe take a stroll up to the duck pond to enjoy a nice refreshment in the nearby café. A must visit is the Himalayan Gardens and sculpture park, or why not take a trip to the National Trust site Brimham Rocks and see the famous balancing rock formations. For younger guests, nearby is the popular Lightwater Valley Theme Park or Eden Camp Modern History Museum.

Although the property does not have a lawned garden there is a patio area with furniture. Please note this home is ideal for couples and small families, if you are booking for workers or tradesmen please get in touch before making a reservation.

Free parking for two vehicles is included outside of the cottage. A travel cot and highchair are available when requested at time of booking. This home will be decorated for the festive season.
