Looking for a weekend retreat with a difference? Why not come and stay in a working artist's studio right on the coast with sweeping views out over the sea. Attached to the owners house, this is a beautifully curated space, offering light and airy open plan accommodation with eclectic decor and contemporary styling.
The sleeping arrangements are flexible; with high quality futon beds (plus comfy mattress toppers) in both small double and single size. This gives guests the choice of having two separate beds, or one kingsized bed and these can be re-made as sofas in the daytime if required.
The kitchen facilities comprise fridge with freezer box, kettle, toaster, double electric induction hob, air-fryer/small oven and dishwasher, along with ample storage and all the kitchenware you might need.
As well as a dining table, there is plenty of space to relax indoors or out, and full height double patio doors lead out to a patio area with sun loungers and coffee tablefire-pit overlooking the lawned area below, and the sea beyond. The shower room is smart and tiled, with a large walk-in shower enclosure, basin and WC.
Located in the peaceful village of Downderry between Torpoint and Looe, guests will be walking distance from the local shop, café, restaurant and pub, and of course from the beach! With Downderry beach and village less than a quarter of a mile away to the east, and Seaton beach and valley less than a mile away to the west, there are plenty of lovely coastal walks straight from the door.
Within easy reach by car is the Rame Peninsula, or 'forgotten Cornwall', lovely to explore and often much quieter than the rest of the county even in high summer. The historic fishing town of Looe is only a short drive away, along with the stunning Fowey estuary, the picturesque cove of Polperro, and plenty of attractions to visit.
Please note: The owner has two friendly, older spaniel-type dogs who may come and greet you from time to time and who share the garden.

-Max of 1 child of any age welcome, no travel cot or high chair is provided.
-No smoking anywhere on site, indoors or outdoors.
-No loud music after 10pm out of courtesy to local residents.
