Ski area: ~150m
Comfortable ski in - ski out chalet at 1 900 meters altitude, with fireplace and free wifi. The chalet is located just next to the ski area (~ 150 m) amidst alpine meadows and snow fields of the Alpage de Thyon. It is accessible by car and placed above the resort of Les Collons, near the 4-seater chairlift Etherolla (~ 350 m). Bright living area with a cosy fireplace on the ground floor; ideal for relaxing after a long day of skiing or hiking. A staircase leads to the mezzanine / gallery with sofa, which serves as an additional reading and lounge area; flatscreen cable tv. Well equipped open plan kitchen, with Jura coffee machine. Direct access to the spacious balcony. Breathtaking panoramic views of the Valais Alps with the Val d'Hérens and the peak of Dent Blanche.
On the lower level is a bedroom with double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a bedroom for 4 people with 2 bunk beds 80 x 200 cm. There is a bathroom with bathtub and toilet and a both with shower. Laundry room with tumble dryer and washing machine on the same floor. Direct outdoor access into the snow or to the garden.
The upper floor has a bedroom with two single beds (90 x 200 cm), a bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm), a bathroom with shower and toilet, a terrace and the southwest-facing balcony. All bathrooms were renovated in summer/automn 2019.

Access to the chalet from the road via a graded path (~ 10 m vertical difference). Private parking ~ 50 m away from the chalet for 2 cars, public parking ~ 150 m away. The restaurants and shops of Collons 1850 are only approx. 800 meters away. Distance to Les Collons 1850 approx. 2 km. In the pleasant ski and holiday resort you will find various shops, restaurants, après-ski bars, a bank, a post office, ski rental and a ski school. An indoor swimming pool and child care facilities (from 18 months, during the winter season) are available in Thyon 2000, ~5 km away. Directly from the chalet youc an start winter hiking and snowshoeing.

Distance to the ski slpoes ~150 m, to the chair lift ~350 m; it is possible to traverse to the chalet (not prepared; at own risk). Great snowparc Centralpark at Thyon. Free open air ice rink in Les Collons. 12 km of nordic slopes.

Ski Pass Reduction
Alpenchalets guests benefit from a reduction of up to 20 % -depending on the rental week- on ski passes for the entire ski area Les Collons - Verbier - 4 Valleys or the partial area 'Printze', from 6 days on; also valid for children, youths and seniors.

There are garden furniture, deck chairs and a charcoal BBQ at the chalet. Summer guests in Les Collons can expect a wide range of activities. It's part of a vast hiking area, there are several mountain bike routes. You can also walk with no great differences in altitude along the "Suonen" (historic irrigation channels). You can also go horse riding, climbing, paragliding or bowling. The Valais’ capital Sion is worth to go shopping trip or to passan evening for a gourmet meal. More sight in the surroundings: underground lake St-Léonard, the Grande Dixence dam and lake – at 285 metres the highest dam in the world. Distance tp the Lake Iles in the Rhone Valley ~ 20 km.
