De omgeving is leuk, leuke restaurants , op loopafstand van het strand met gezellige tentjes. Boodschappen kan je lopend doen vanaf het huis. Mooie omgeving , huur een auto en je kan veel leuke dorpjes bezoeken . Het huis is leuk maar qua onderhoud verouderd. Slaapkamer deuren konden niet goed gesloten worden, deuren konden moeilijk open of dicht. Het was niet echt schoon, servies en kopjes en bestek hebben we eerst met de hand afgewassen. Veel stof ook. Badkamers daarentegen keurig schoon. Heerlijk groot zwembad en waar we zelfs half april in gezwommen hebben. Te weinig keukenlinnen aanwezig. Echt wel fijn dat elke slaapkamer zijn eigen badkamer heeft. Bedden bij aankomst keurig opgemaakt volgens vooraf aan te geven wens. Zou er zeker nog een keer heen gaan met een grote groep.

De Villa Abadesa is een héérlijke plek om, zoals wij, een week met kinderen en kinderen door te brengen. De kamers zijn groot en comfortabel met airco, het zwembad is groot en omgeven met gras en een veilige afsluiting voor kleine kinderen. Bovendien kunnen de kleintjes heerlijk speken in de tuin waarin het complex ligt en last but not least, de games room.

We loved the accommodation and the owners and Santiago ( caretaker) could not have been any more helpful. Villa had everything we needed for a large group including children. Lovely to come be in walking distance of shops, beach, cafes, bus stop etc. Feel a couple of the outside areas need a little tidy up but the pool and seating area was perfect, plenty of shade if you wanted it. We would definitely go back to this property.

Es war unser dritter Urlaub in La Abadesa und er war - wie die anderen zuvor - super! Die Ankunft war wie nach Hause kommen - einfach nur herrlich. Das Anwesen und die netten Zimmer (alle mit eigenem Bad!) haben so viel Charme, der Pool ist riesig, es gibt ein Spielezimmer mit Tischtennis, Billard und jede Menge Brettspiele. Die gemeinsamen Essen auf der überdachten Terrasse direkt vor der voll ausgestatteten Küche - einfach nur traumhaft. Man wohnt ruhig und trotzdem zentral genug. Fußläufig gibt es einen gutsortierten Supermarkt, Souvenirläden und gute Esslokale. Der Weg zur Promenade führt einen durch ein Viertel mit anderen wunderschönen Anwesen und in 40 Minuten ist man mit einem entspannten Spaziergang am Meer entlang direkt in Puerto Banus. Auch der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter und dem Housekeeper sind total unkompliziert und super nett. Es war bestimmt nicht unser letztes Mal in La Abadesa!

Ivm twee 40jarige huwelijken zijn wij met twee gezinnen in villa La Abadesa geweest. Wij werden hartelijk ontvangen door Santiago die ons rondleidde in de villa. Ook op andere momenten in deze week was hij direct bereikbaar voor een vraag van ons. Een hele vriendelijke man. La Abadesa is een mooi en rustig gelegen huis, hoewel midden in een woonwijk. Daar merk je dus niets van. De kamers zijn prima in orde en de keuken zeer compleet. Wij hebben genoten van het zwembad en de omgeving. Leuke plaatsen bezocht, een week is tekort! Kortom een fantastische vakantie!

The villa was outstanding, equipped with 8 bedrooms which are all ensuite and the owner ask us prior to arriving if we wanted double beds or two single beds in each room which was great as some rooms we required double and others just single. The rooms were clean the beds were comfy, the fridges were stocked with water and there was a crate of beer and two bottles of wine left for us which was nice. The surroundings were beautiful the sunshine was on the pool all day, the pool was heated, with a temperature control switch which we were also shown. All of the rooms had air conditioning and hot water which was great. Some rooms had better mirrors and wardrobes and some even had an iron/ironing board. We walked into the centre of Peurto Banus which took around 20-30 minutes depending on pace but was a lovely walk through the surrounding neighbourhood and down the beach front. There was a large supermarket round the corner which was very handy. There was also an Irish bar and other smaller Spanish bars within a 3 minute walk. A taxi into Peurto Banus was around 7 euros. The only downfall we had was there was only 3 keys to get in an out of the property which was difficult with a group of 13 so we did have to wake up a few friends one night to get back in! All in all an amazing place very spacious with individual privacy as well as being personal and all together privately away from a hotel atmosphere.

The main reason for our stay was my husbands 50th year birthday and when we arrived the house attendant who took care of us, had arranged a birthdaycake!! Wonderful surprise ) The house attendant - Santiago was always a sms away - what a service minded person! The accommodation was great and the best part of all was that every family had their own room with a bathroom. Could not have been better ) A large pool with sunbeads and a lot of space for play and fun time.

Es war unser zweiter Urlaub in La Abadesa und es wird definitiv nicht der letzte gewesen sein. Nach fast genau einem Jahr hat sich überhaupt nichts verändert. Alles noch genauso schön und gepflegt wie zuvor. Das Anwesen ist mit Liebe errichtet und eingerichtet worden, es fehlt an nichts. Auch der Kontakt mit dem Housekeeper Santiago ist total unkompliziert und einfach über WhatsApp möglich - Klasse! Wir freuen uns schon auf nächstes Jahr. o)

Wow wow wow! What an amazing find! I booked La Abadesa for my 30th birthday with my fiancé and all our friends! I trawled the Internet for ages trying to find somewhere suitable and La Abadesa sees the best price wise and location! If I'm completely honest the pictures of the interior didn't wow me.njr the pool area looked great so that sold it to me! On arrival we were all blown away the villa is completely stunning the private gates opened to reveal a beautiful villa with stunning grounds and a pool area that is the centre of it all with a BBQ area. All the bedrooms have their own bathroom.ans two of the rooms also come with a separate kitchen and living area that we didn't use but I can imagine would be great for a group of families travelling together! The kitchen was lovely and has everything you could possibly need with two bottles of wine and snacks to welcome us which was a lovely touch! The location of the villa was fantastic just out the villa and right at the end of the street we found a few bars and it was a short walk to the atm and supersol which had everything you could possibly need at very reasonable prices! Puerto banus was also only a 2 minute taxi ride around €7-10 euro. We had the most wonderful holiday and anyone who is considering booking la abadesa just do it you won't regret it we are already talking about our reunion trip!

Sjarmerende villa i flott beliggenhet! Den oppvarmede bassenget var et høydepunkt, spesielt på de kjøligere kveldene, Nær stranden og lokale restauranter følte vi at vi hadde det beste av begge verdener - avslapning og bekvemmelighet, Ville gjerne komme tilbake!

Zeer ruime accommodatie met veel slaapkamers, badkamers, goede bedden, groot zwembad. De villa is gelegen in een mooie rustige woonwijk, alles ommuurd, veilig. Grote speelkamer met poolbiljart en diverse spellen, televisie. Buiten speelweide, BBQ. Schitterend voor uitstapjes naar bv Ronda, Puerto Banus, Marbella (oude stad). Het kiezelstrand ligt dichtbij. Kortom zeer aan te bevelen, en voor herhaling vatbaar.

Zijn 's avonds om 22.00 uur aangekomen bij locatie. Waren verrast door de ruime opzet en de absolute staat waarin het gebouw verkeert. Hadden snel onze weg gevonden, mede door de hulp van de huismeester. Van de omgeving konden we gezien het tijdstip niet echt veel zien.

Amazing villa set in a lovely quiet residential area close to the beach, local supermarket and a 2 min taxi ride to nearby Puerto Banus! Stayed here with a group of girlfriends and had the best time relaxing by the huge and stunning pool. The bedrooms are all lovely and spacious with their own en-suites which made the stay even more comfortable and everyone said they will all come back with their own families! Would definitely recommend the villa - its got so much space and great for groups, etc. Thank you to Santiago for making it so comfortable for us and we will be back soon!

Hallo, die Villa La Abadesa zu buchen, war die beste Idee, die wir hätten haben können. Das Haus und seine Ausstattung war einfach nur super, ein grandioser Pool, Spielesammlung, Tischtennisplatte, Billard und Grill - es fehlte einfach an nichts. Sogar zwei Fahrräder standen zu Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet, alles funktioniert und es ist sehr sauber. Wir hatten einen herzlichen Empfang bei Wein, Bier und Snacks. Alles wurde uns genau erklärt und wenn doch noch Fragen offen waren, stand und der Housekeeper, Senor Santiago, per Whats App sofort zur Seite. Wenn nötig, wäre er auch persönlich erschienen. Auch der Mailverkehr im Vorfeld mit dem Hauseigentümer war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Die Umgebung ist mit all den tollen Villen sehr schön. Es gibt auch einen deutschen Bäcker in Laufnähe, der uns sogar beliefert hat, was aber wahrscheinlich an der bestellten Brötchenmenge (bei 15 Personen!) lag. o) Die City und der Hafen von Marbella sind mit dem Auto in nur ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Gleiches gilt für die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, etliche Supermercados, Aldi und Lidl - alles da. Wir können LA Abadesa nur wärmstens empfehlen!!!!

Our group was 15 people and it was fantastic. This villa is stunning, it has all you need and more for an amazing weekend. The pool was fantastic and a lot of fun. The rooms are huge with en suites which is very handy for a group of our size. The local shops are more than enough for needs and we had a food delivery which helped. We were welcome by Santiago, who was extremely helpful and very nice. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone with a large group looking for an amazing and relaxing holiday.

We were a party of 15 on a golfing trip and the villa was perfect, easy access to everything and very peaceful. The property had everything you could need including a great pool and lovely areas to relax. The owners and staff were brilliant and very helpful with questions and kept us up to date with anything going on. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Had an amazing stay at this villa in May 2016, easily accommodated a group of 17. It's in a perfect location with a supermarket nearby and close to Puerto Banus by a short taxi ride. Santiago, the key holder, was really helpful and was on hand throughout our stay for anything we needed. When our flight was delayed he took in our supermarket delivery and provided us with welcome drinks which was a really nice touch. The villa owner, Reiner, was always really quick to respond to any questions by email that we had leading up to our stay. Overall the villa was really clean and well presented, plenty of outdoor seating areas and the pool was fantastic. We all were so impressed with La Abadesa, we couldn't have hoped for a better place to enjoy our trip to Marbella and are already planning our next trip back here!
