Holiday apartment - 4 persons - Tintorera - La Torre Golf Resort - 30709 - Roldán

The apartment location was good. We had a problem with an infestation of ants in the bathroom and the kitchen even though we cleaned everyday to ensure there was no food around. There was anti insect spray under the sink that we used regularly.The provided loungers for the pool are dangerous and old, these need to be upgraded. It said there was wifi in the apartment, but the wifi was for the block, that wasn't too much of an issue. The TV was very small and we couldn't get any actual picture on it, but could use it as a radio.The beds were basic and a little rickety but served the basic purpose. It would be good to have a second set of keys as it was sometimes a juggling act with a family of four. The key for the downstairs door to the pool didn't work so we left the door open all day so we could go upstairs to use the toilet or we would have to walk around to the front of the building.We put some washes on and the first time the electricity tripped. This didn't trip in the electricity box but it was to do with the amount of electricity the owner signs up to for the apartment. If this happens you need to flip all the switches down in the electricity box for about 5 minutes then lift them back up and that resets the power. After this we turned off the AC when using the washing machine to avoid the power tripping.For checking in, our friends who were already there met with Maria in the daytime and so were able to get us some provisions as we arrived after 1am. There was no information on the checking out procedure, I tried calling and messaging Maria the day before to get confirmation, but we had no communication from her until 10.15am (15 minutes after the required checkout time) and the message was simply to leave the keys in the apartment. This message could be communicated on the check in information that is sent out.La Torre is a great location with lots of available facilities, the supermarket is a short walking distance from the apartment as well as the location of the restaurants/bars and golf club. For a cheap holiday it served its purpose.
