The spacious living room provides a fireplace and cable TV. The one-hectare site has a decorative forest with a fruit and vegetable garden, as well as a big table for ten people, a barbecue and a wood-burning stove. You can swim or go canoeing in the Tamega river, or explore the hiking trails by the Ovelha river, go cycling along the country road to Amarante, and get to know the traditional cuisine of the region. The other places of interest include the Roman ruins at Togobriga, the Freixo excavation site, or the historical centre of Amarante. Guimarães, the cradle of the nation, Porto’s historical centre or the Douro Valley are also worth a visit.
