In the sheltered, sunny courtyard of the mill you can relax by the pool and spend cozy barbecue evenings. A spiral staircase takes you to the comfortable bedrooms on the first and second floors. The Atlantic Ocean with its sandy beaches can be reached quickly by car. Activities nearby: On Thursdays there is a large weekly market in Barcelos which is not to be missed. The beach Póvoa de Varzim, twelve kilometers away, has various recreational facilities such as indoor swimming pools and a casino. If you want to explore the area, the historic towns of Guimarães and Braga are worth a visit. In Viana do Castelo, where the Rio Lima and the Atlantic Ocean meet, the picturesque Praça da República square will impress you with its Renaissance fountain and City Hall.
