Approximately 10 km south from Syracuse is the beach resort Terrauzza, which offers fascinating rocky coasts and a crystal clear sea. The rocky coasts are flat and walkable. The nearest sandy beaches are approximately 5,5 km (Lido Arenella) and 9 km (Fontane Bianche) away from the property; Lido Arenella is one of the best organized and most beautiful private beaches of Eastern Sicily. The seaside resort of Terrauzza guarantees a bus connection every 90 minutes to Syracuse.

Distances from Chalet:

Small grocery store, public telephone booth and bus stop at about 800 m, restaurant / pizzeria at about 7 km, newsagent about 8 km (in the summer season). The shopping centres Carrefour and Lidl are in Syracuse.

Location:

Approximately 1.5 km from the rocky coast of the Bay of Terrauzza, on an estate of over 20,000 square meters, there is a beautiful and lovingly maintained holiday complex with 12 holiday units and a magnificent pool. It is surrounded by hills and located between two bays, from one side overlooking the bay of Syracuse (with views of the old town Ortigia) and on the other side the bay of Plemmirio. The view is fascinating. Located in the property there is the following small cozy apartment for two people: Chalet.

Outside accommodation:

The winter garden of the chalet overlooks a small garden area of approximately 200 square meters for private use of guests.

The large and beautiful property, which is available to all guests, offers all stay options for a relaxing holiday. A wide veranda overlooking the sea and the city of Syracuse offers the best shared area. Here there are comfortable seating facilities and a small bar where breakfasts, coffee or tea are served for a surcharge. A path leads to the swimming pool (open from 14/05 to 17/09) for shared use. From here you have a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside, the sea and the city of Syracuse. Near the pool there are comfortable seating facilities under a gazebo, where all worries vanish in an instant after a dip in the fresh water.

Conclusion:

The outside area of the property is lovingly cared and colorfully decorated. A soothing walk along the green areas leaves no doubt that you are in Sicily. The view that can be enjoyed from the pool area is something that is good for your soul. The sea is just a few minutes from the house and offers a variety of fascinating coves. Syracuse, the baroque city of Noto and the unique nature reserve of Vendicari are easily accessible from here.

Parking within the complex. For the duration of the stay, a rental car is recommended.

Chalet (2 pers.)

The approximately 50 square meters apartment on more floors and furnished in Sicilian style, offers accommodation for two people. From the main door you reach a charming, open-plan living room with TV and air conditioning. In one room, at two different levels, there's the living and the sleeping area with double bed, which is reachable via a small staircase. Other steps lead to the bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. On another, higher living level there is a cozy winter garden with dining table and kitchenette with gas stove. The kitchenette is equipped with 2-burner gas cooker and fridge / freezer. Espresso machine (classic espresso maker) available. The winter garden with its large glass windows is ideal for sitting or having breakfast outside.

If you leave the kitchen not cleaned (dishes washed and tided up, garbage thrown away, sink and kitchen furniture cleaned up), 50 € are required for this extra cleaning.
