Hidden in the peaceful village of Douliana just 22 km east of Chania, this lovely accommodation offers a gentle escape into the heart of Crete’s natural beauty. Here, life slows down. Birds replace traffic noise, forest paths replace crowded streets, and the warm village atmosphere makes you feel instantly at home. Your private space is designed for calm and comfort, with a cosy kitchen corner, air conditioning and a bathroom equipped with everything you need for a relaxed stay. Step outside to your terrace or balcony (depending on the unit) and enjoy uninterrupted views of the countryside, the fresh mountain air and the stillness that makes Douliana so special. At the centre of the property, a large shared pool surrounded by sun loungers invites you to spend slow afternoons in the sun or refreshing moments in the water. Pets are welcome on request, and parking is available just outside the property. A quiet forest road leads you to the sea, only 3 km away. Kera Beach lies just 2.5 km from your door, while the sandy shores of Almirida and Kalives—full of tavernas, cafés, supermarkets and water sports—are just 3 km away. Most coastal villages in Crete become crowded in summer, but Douliana stays peaceful and authentic. You’re close to the sea, yet wonderfully removed from high-season noise and traffic. It’s the perfect place to breathe, rest and experience Crete at its most genuine.

Tips from owner:
Get away from crowds ! Summer time , in most villages very close to beaches are many people, much traffic and lots of noise. So it is better to select a place not far from the sea front but not in the middle of high season turbulence.
