Description
Hello and welcome! We are delighted that you are interested in staying at the wonderful Solterbeck farm. Our cosy holiday flat is located in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein, in the pretty village of Wohlde, on the former farm of the Solterbeck family. It can accommodate up to 8 people. We welcome families and children as well as groups of friends who want to treat themselves to a relaxing break or fitters and business travellers. Please write to us!
The accommodation
Our 200m² holiday flat is located on the ground floor of the former farm of the Solterbeck family. The flat was completely renovated and modernised in spring 2015, while retaining its original charm. It is furnished in an original mix of old and modern furniture.
There are wooden floors in the living and sleeping areas and a terrazzo floor in the kitchen. The large farmhouse kitchen with a long dining table invites you to cook and sit together. On colder days, the wood-burning stove provides cosiness. There are two bathrooms and a bathtub is available.
The terrace is surrounded by a colourful flowering shrub garden, with seating and lounging areas everywhere. You can relax and read a book in the hammock. The property is 3000m2 in size and also offers children and teenagers many opportunities. Table tennis, badminton rackets and good bicycles are available. Cycling and hiking trails and the river with swimming and canoeing facilities are in the immediate vicinity.
The wonderful sauna provides relaxation. Horse time can be booked for children and adults subject to availability.
The holiday flat has a washing machine and includes bed linen and towels.

Wohlde is an ideal starting point for excursions to neighbouring towns such as Schleswig, Husum and the Dutch town of Friedrichstadt. Interesting museums such as Gottorf Castle and the Viking Museum in Schleswig, the Theodor Storm House and the Maritime Museum in Husum are just a few examples. Children can observe the marine world in the Multimar Museum in Tönning or seals in the West Coast Park in St. Peter-Ording. The beaches of the North Sea and Baltic Sea can be reached in 30-40 minutes.
