Description

The typical Moselle holiday home is located in the centre of the small village of Valwig in a quiet location near the vineyards, about three kilometres from the tourist centre of Cochem. At the front is a spacious sun terrace with awning, sun loungers and deckchairs; behind the house is an idyllic little garden with a shady vine arbour for relaxing or barbecuing. The approx. 40 square metre flat is located on the first floor and consists of the following rooms: a living room with a sofa bed, a bedroom with a double bed, a small kitchen with a 2-ring hob, microwave and coffee machine and an adjoining bathroom with a shower. After an active day, you can relax with a novel in the cosy living room seating area in the evening. The small kitchen has everything you need to serve a delicious breakfast or dinner in the dining area of the living room. And if you don't feel like cooking, you can enjoy selected regional specialities with a fine bottle of Moselle wine in the adjoining restaurant and wine bar. You can also order your breakfast rolls for collection next door. The Moselle village of Valwig is only five minutes away from the tourist centre of Cochem. There you will find various shopping facilities, a bank, a pharmacy, a hospital and a wide range of leisure activities: e.g. the Moselbad (wave and outdoor pool), the Reichsburg Cochem, the Cochem chairlift, the historic mustard mill, an animal and leisure park (Klotti), a small cinema, various excursion boats and much more.There are also plenty of excursion options in the surrounding area, be it to the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz, the Roman city of Trier, the Maar lakes in the Eifel or even Cologne Cathedral. The quaint little wine village is particularly inviting for hiking, e.g. on the "Apolloweg" or the "Breva Wein & Weg", for cycling or for socialising in one of the wine taverns or wine taverns, and during the season you will receive a free guest ticket for free use of buses and trains in the Cochem-Zell district and other smaller discounts. You can store your bicycles or motorbikes free of charge in the lockable vaulted cellar. A public car park is available free of charge at the house and 50 metres from the house.
