Holiday park with its own lido directly on the water on the Müritz, Germany's Little Sea. It forms a unit with the protected Marina Müritz in the harbor village of Müritz. Located in the municipality of Rechlin, the area is close to the Müritz National Park, which you can explore on foot, by bike or by carriage. Flat, sandy beaches, many small lakes with crystal-clear water and a diverse, natural flora and fauna characterize the landscape. Introductory courses for surfing and sailing are offered about 5 km away. Excursion destinations include the castle island in Mirow, the castle in Wesenberg, the residential town of Neustrelitz, Burg-Stargard (highlight for children: the summer toboggan run), the Rococo castle in Rheinsberg, the old town and the city harbor of Waren or the four-gate city of Neubrandenburg. Even Berlin, Potsdam or Rostock are not too far for a day trip. In the harbor village of Müritz there is a wide range of maritime activities for boat owners and for guests who want to charter a boat. From the Marina Müritz there is lock- and bridge-free access to the Müritz. You can rent open sports boats without a license or rent larger houseboats. It is also possible to get a boat license. You can also moor your own boat; there is a 90 t crane, a 3.2 ton pillar crane, a trailer parking space, marina shop and of course the shipyard service. All in all: an El Dorado for water sports enthusiasts. Anglers will also find a true paradise here, as the Müritz has an extremely rich fish population.
