Description
Enjoy complete relaxation in our comfortable and generously furnished apartment 30 metres from the sea. Our flat was completed in 1995 and lovingly furnished for you in Scandinavian style. The beach is gently sloping, making it the best place for small children to play in the shallow water without having to cross a road. Dogs are welcome guests and of course stay for free. Part of the nearby beach is currently open to dogs all year round. In summer you can walk barefoot through the fine sand, dive into the waves or simply forget everyday life in a beach chair. Smoking is only permitted on the terrace!
Spacious living room with integrated kitchen, dining area and direct access to the terrace. Bedroom with double bed with 100 x 200 cm single mattresses and bedside tables. Outside window with blackout blind, large wardrobe and large dressing mirror. A travel cot fits to the left of the double bed, which we can provide free of charge on request. Please bring your own duvets and bed linen. The kitchen is integrated into the living room and equipped with everything you are used to at home, including - fridge with freezer compartment - cooker with ceramic hob and oven - microwave - kettle - coffee machine - coffee pod machine - dishwasher Bathroom with bathtub, washbasin, WC and bathroom cabinet.
Late-riser breakfast on the sun terrace until 11 a.m. in high season.
For enquiries with dogs, please state their shoulder height and breed. The charm of the early and low season! In winter, after a long walk, a visit to the sauna or a glass of mulled wine, you can be at home in your flat - by candlelight and cosy warmth, because Timmendorfer Strand is always busy, but it's a time without the hustle and bustle. Especially at Christmas time, when the harbour shines with countless lights, or at the turn of the year, when the NDR organises its annual (free) New Year's Eve party with huge fireworks directly on the Baltic Sea, you should make the most of your time here. For dog owners, the fireworks are far enough away from your home that your four-legged family member won't panic.
Heading west, your walk will take you along the waterfront, past the indoor swimming pool (inexpensive), spa administration, centre with boutiques, jewellery shops, cafés and restaurants to the historic harbour where fresh fish is landed daily. Why not try the fresh fish sandwiches or the traditional fish soup here? On the beach, the path continues around the harbour directly to Timmendorfer Strand, which invites you to look around and shop or watch the "scene" or those who think they are (Café Wichtig). There is something for everyone here. Heading east, you can reach Travemünde directly via the Brodtener Ufer cliffs and Hermannshöhe with a wonderful view over the Bay of Lübeck. Around Niendorf and benefits of the ostseecard ! Discounts for the Sealife aquarium, for the Aalbeek bird park with its 52-species owl collection, for the Baltic Sea thermal baths in Scharbeutz, for the Niendorf indoor swimming pool, for public transport buses, for the Hansa-Park Sierksdorf 20 km away and for the Hemmelsdorfer-See nature reserve. From the picturesque Niendorf fishing harbour and marina, excursion steamers depart several times a day to a wide variety of destinations along the coast and up the Trave. In summer, music and theatre performances take place in many nearby locations, such as opera, operetta and open-air performances in Eutin Castle Park. The nearby 5-lake plateau near Malente awaits you for a romantic boat trip. A visit to the old Hanseatic city of Lübeck with its historic city centre can be wonderfully combined with a visit to the Christmas market. In Oldenburg you can visit the old rampart museum and the historic ring wall. Activities ! Many sports facilities with the corresponding schools promise successful recreation with fun and games for young and old at any time of the year. Windsurfing, sailing, water skiing, fishing, diving, swimming, cycling on varied tours, inline skating, golf (Timmendorfer Strand, Warnsdort, Travemünde), tennis, horse riding.
