Country holiday in a feel-good atmosphere
Our two modern 5-star holiday flats are located in a holiday home that was newly renovated in 2008 on the park-like grounds of a former farm in 27419 Klein Meckelsen (approx. 6 km to the A1 motorway junction Sittensen between Hamburg and Bremen). The ground-floor flats, each 56 m² in size, are suitable for 2 people. Each flat has a separate entrance and its own terrace. 2 car parking spaces are available. There are also lockable storage facilities for bicycles. The holiday and business flats are of course equipped with a flat-screen TV and satellite receiver. A mini stereo system and Blu-ray player are available for further entertainment. The modern bathroom with outside window and walk-in shower is directly connected to the bedroom. We are happy to provide a cot and high chair for small children. The fully equipped open-plan kitchen (including dishwasher and washing machine) is located in the spacious and tastefully furnished living and dining room. From the cosy seating windows, you can enjoy a view of the beautiful garden and meadow landscape. In winter, underfloor heating and a fireplace, which can be operated from both the living room and the bedroom, contribute to a particularly cosy atmosphere. Enjoy the view of nature and let your mind wander. Take pleasure in the many beautiful plants and listen to the water features at the large garden pond. Bed linen and towels are provided. A basket of firewood is provided free of charge. Final cleaning is included in the price. Bicycles can be used free of charge.

Excursion possibilities : The central location of our holiday home between the Hanseatic cities of Hamburg and Bremen in the Elbe-Weser triangle offers a wide range of leisure activities. A trip to Hamburg is definitely worthwhile (Hafencity and fish market, Speicherstadt, Binnenalster, Hagenbecks Tierpark, musicals The Lion King, Hinterm Horizont etc.). We also recommend a visit to the city of Bremen (Schnoorviertel, Weserpromenade, Universum). You can reach both cities via the nearby A1 motorway in 30 to 40 minutes. The Alte Land and the beautiful old towns of Buxtehude and Stade are approx. 30 - 40 km away, as are the Lüneburg Heath and the artists' village of Worpswede. Timmendorfer Strand on the Baltic Sea can be reached in 75 minutes, as can the North Sea beach in Cuxhaven-Duhnen.

It is located in the district of Rotenburg/W., centred between Hamburg and Bremen in the Elbe-Weser triangle. The village of Klein Meckelsen has twice won the national competition "Our village should become more beautiful".
Other sports and leisure activities : You have many options for a beautiful and special day: Cycling or jogging through the charming landscape of the Börde Sittensen (approx. 80 km of paved and well signposted cycle paths, e.g. Börde-Tour Sittensen and the Mühlenroute. The Hamburg-Bremen long-distance cycle path and the Lüneburg Heath cycle path lead directly past our house. In summer you can go swimming in the heated outdoor pool in Sittensen or in the new natural swimming pool in Zeven. In winter, the RONOLULU adventure pool in Rotenburg/W. also offers lots of fun swimming and bathing. For golfers, the Königshofer Heide golf club in Sittensen offers a challenge with its 18 demanding holes on 60 hectares of land. Numerous hills, hollows, biotopes and water hazards offer a few surprises on this challenging course in a typical Geest landscape.
