Hiking trails and cycle paths are right on the doorstep. The district town of Osterode and the Harz town of Bad Grund are approx. 5 km away. The beautiful half-timbered town of Osterode has a beautiful leisure pool with wellness area, hiking opportunities and much more. Bad Grund offers a cave adventure centre, the "World Forest", a mining museum, minigolf and a brine bath. Bad Lauterberg has a wave pool with slide and wellness area. The beautiful half-timbered towns of Gosler and Wernigerrode are well worth a visit. The longest summer toboggan run is located in Gosler-Hahnenklee. The beautiful Harz ponds invite you to swim and relax.
