Description

The 65 m² holiday flat is located at the foot of Greifenstein Castle and can accommodate four people. From here you can explore the valleys and forests around Bad Blankenburg on foot or by bike and observe many animals that are not at home everywhere in Germany, such as the dipper, the fire salamander or the stag beetle.

On request, you can enjoy a grilled sausage from the charcoal grill in the garden with a panoramic view over the city. The terrace is for private use and the garden is for communal use. You can hire two bicycles on site for a fee.

Your holiday accommodation is located on the first floor of a three-storey building and offers two bedrooms, one of which is furnished with a double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) and the second with two single beds (0.90 m x 2.00 m each). There is also a bathroom with shower, washbasin, hairdryer and WC. If you like to cook, the fully equipped kitchen makes this a breeze. In addition to a dining table for shared meals, there is also a hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine and toaster. In the living room you will find a sofa and a television. And if the weather doesn't meet your expectations, you can pick up a novel from the bookshelf or one of the board games or share your experiences with family and friends via the Internet. The house is heated by gas heating. There is a washing machine in the cellar for your private use.

Bad Blankenburg is an idyllic little town at the entrance to the picturesque Schwarzatal valley. The town is characterised by its proximity and good connections to important cities such as Weimar, Erfurt and Jena, as well as to many interesting excursion destinations. The clear air, the special climate and the varied landscape make Bad Blankenburg a recreational paradise for body and soul. Along the Schwarza or the surrounding mountains and hiking areas, you can enjoy the variety of flora and fauna on well-developed and signposted paths. Lavender also finds favourable conditions here in the Thuringian Herb Garden area and is once again becoming a hallmark of the region. The town's landmark is Greifenstein Castle. The town has a spa park, a spa pavilion and an outdoor pool. It is crossed by five major tourist routes.
