Chalet 10 pers. ski area: ~150m Spacious, luxurious chalet with outdoor whirlpool, free WiFi and four bedrooms, all en-suite with private bathroom. On the ground floor there is a twin room and a double room with bunk beds as well as the ski room with ski boot dryer. The first floor has a spacious living/dining area with an open fireplace and a well-equipped kitchenette. Access to the balcony with a wonderful view of the "Mont Chery" ski mountain. There are two further double bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The chalet is located in the hamlet of La Turche, approx. 800 m from the centre of the lively ski village of Les Gets (bus stop ~50 m away). There you will find numerous restaurants, shops, après-ski bars, discotheque, the museum of mechanical music, etc. To the easy blue piste and the nearest ski lift La Turche ~100 m. This provides access to the entire Les Portes du Soleil ski area. Depending on snow conditions, free skiing down to the chalet is possible (no official, groomed piste; at your own risk). Bed linen, pillows and blanket for the baby cot can be hired for a fee (pre-booking required). Catering possible for a fee (external service; not provided by Alpenchalets). Bread roll service in winter to the sports shop "Phillipe Sports" possible (~50 m). Ski info Chalet altitude ~1,380 m, ski area up to 2,400 m. 650 km of ski pistes, 211 lifts and cable cars. Swiss-French ski arena Les Portes du Soleil - the gates to the sun - with attractive pistes for every taste. Magnificent, extensive ski area, located between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, with attractive pistes in the mostly treeless alpine areas around Avoriaz, Les Lindarets and Les Crosets/Switzerland. The black piste Schweizer Mauer/Chavanette is considered one of the greatest challenges for good skiers in the Alps. Wonderful freeride routes, e.g. to Grand Paradis (ski instructor/mountain guide recommended; at your own risk).
