GITE in the heart of the Drôme Provençale The owners welcome you to a beautiful stone house in the Drôme Provençale adjoining the owners' house. It is 2 km from La Bégude de Mazenc, a village with all amenities, and 16 km from Montélimar.
Traditional stone farmhouse set in 6000 m2 of wooded parkland.
The gîte comprises a living room/kitchen with wood-burning stove, 1 independent bedroom and a second bedroom on the mezzanine, both with 160 cm double beds, a bathroom with shower and washbasin, an independent WC, storage space and cupboards, a covered terrace with barbecue overlooking the garden and a heated swimming pool (9 m x 4 m) located 30 m from the gîte, sheltered from the wind and from view (pool closed from October to May). For your comfort on hot summer days, the gîte has air conditioning.The gîte is designed for 4 people, but you have the option of renting an extra bedroom (2 people) with its own bathroom and WC, directly accessible from the gîte. Satellite TV (many foreign channels) 1 living room TV and 1 bedroom TV 1 The region is magnificent, and depending on the season you will discover fields of lavender and poppies, as well as olive groves in the Nyons region, famous for its olive oil.COVID 19: Given the exceptional circumstances we are experiencing, we would like to share the following information with you: The gîte and its grounds are completely independent and there is no other accommodation on the site. The swimming pool remains at your exclusive disposal (no other person will be present). We welcome our guests with a mask and provide hydro-alcoholic gel in the gîte. All the rooms in the gîte are ventilated before cleaning and the windows are open during cleaning. The person in charge of cleaning washes his hands regularly and wears a mask and gloves. We clean all the surfaces present so as to remove dirt, grease, dust and germs and then apply a disinfectant. For each cleaning, we use clean cloths that have been washed at high temperature after a customer has left. We pay particular attention to the most frequently used surfaces (light switches, door handles, remote control taps). All household linen (sheets, mattress covers, bath and hand towels, kitchen towels, napkins) are washed at the highest recommended temperature. Please note that we are a 2-star gîte registered with the Town Hall and the Tourist Office. Nearby (La Bégude de Mazenc) there is a pharmacy, general practitioners and specialists, as well as a hospital in Montélimar (15 mins). To find us: at La Bégude de Mazenc, take the D9 towards Charols, about 1200 m from the centre of La Bégude, turn right (signposted "église et vieux village"), drive 550 m and you've arrived, the house is on the left. If you don't have a GPS or if you're lost, stop at the village post office and phone us, we'll come and get you.
