Villa 78 m² for 6 people - Traditional semi-detached house type A Very comfortable semi-detached villa type A on two levels for 6 (maximum 8) people, with 2 bathrooms, situated in a quiet location 150-200 m from the centre of life. Each unit is slightly different (orientation, interior layout), and we will allocate it to you according to your family composition and wishes. We have 7 units of this type. A type A villa is always twinned with a type B villa (A+B). They are located on a small wooded hill. The estate: A splendid 35-hectare estate, undulating and dotted with woods and meadows. Classified as a "Village de Vacances" (holiday village) ****, it is an oasis of greenery and calm, wonderfully situated in the south of the historic Périgord region (Dordogne), at the gateway to Quercy, Gascony and Guyenne (France). Its tastefully restored old buildings, its excellent restaurant, the Auberge de Vezou (in summer), and its modern accommodation in the heart of nature, as well as the many activities on offer, will make your holiday unforgettable. On-site activities: heated, floodlit swimming pool, spa (sauna, jacuzzi), floodlit tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, football pitch, table tennis, trampoline, pétanque, billiards, children's play area, footpaths, etc.Nearby: horse riding, mountain biking, accrobranche, climbing, caving, canoeing, fishing, buggies, various excursions. The owners of the estate will welcome you personally and will be happy to help you throughout your stay. The sofa bed provides flexibility depending on the composition of the family, but the accommodation is designed for the nominal capacity indicated. The top bunk bed is not authorised for children under 6 years of age. All the accommodation is fully furnished and equipped and has a terrace with garden furniture. They also have a mini hi-fi system and/or a CD-radio-alarm clock. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout. Bed linen and towels can be provided. TV and DVD player available for hire. Laundry room available to guests at low cost (washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron). Gavaudun is a small medieval village, dominated by its 11th-century castle with a remarkable keep, nestling between the Lot and Dordogne valleys, close to the majestic châteaux of Biron and Bonaguil and the bastides of Monflanquin and Monpazier. Sarlat and its festival, Rocamadour, Saint Emilion, Les Eyzies, Cahors, Moissac, Nérac, the prehistoric caves of Lascaux, Font de Gaume, Pech Merle and many other exceptional sites await your visit. Périgord is also particularly renowned for its gastronomy: ducks, truffles, ceps, foie gras... accompanied by Bergerac, Monbazillac and Cahors wines... Last but not least, there are many cultural events organised in the region to suit everyone. Well-behaved pets are welcome, but please avoid July and August if possible (too many children not used to dogs). The estate is a real paradise for dogs, with long, free walks around the extensive grounds. The estate is very quiet and peaceful outside the high season, except on wedding weekends. It obviously becomes busier in July and August with children and teenagers, but the estate is very large and most of the accommodation is away from the centre of life (with the exception of the gîtes). You'll have no trouble relaxing on your private terrace or in the surrounding meadows while your children play together.
