This bright, detached gîte also has a south-facing terrace where you can sunbathe or enjoy an aperitif outside on the first sunny days. Independent parking for several cars and charging points nearby (see photo). Ideally located in the countryside, 6 minutes from the centre of Portbail-sur-Mer and 8 minutes from Barneville-Carteret, with its beaches and water sports activities (swimming, walking, sailing, sand yachting) as well as horse riding, golf, hiking and links to the Channel Islands. This holiday home includes: a fully-equipped kitchen, a living room with wood-burning stove, a bathroom with walk-in shower, three bedrooms, a large garden, parking and all baby equipment. Bright bedrooms that can be oculated, a south-facing garden, away from prying eyes, so you can enjoy your holiday or weekend in peace and quiet. You'll be on your own in a pleasant wooded setting, part of which has been deliberately kept semi-wild to make room for biodiversity. This is a delight for crickets, butterflies, dragonflies and other birds, but it doesn't detract from its charm - quite the contrary. You can also pick up some excellent exotic takeaway dishes at rhaja, 150 metres away. Located at the southern gateway to Contentin. Jobourg, Goury, port racine, cité de la mer, gatteville lighthouse, Cherbourg, Saint-Vaast-la-Houge are no more than 35 km away. To the east, Mont Saint Michel is 1 hour 30 minutes away. This part of the coast enjoys a sunny climate, making it one of the driest regions in France, and the gîte, located on the coastal strip, benefits from plenty of sunshine. The environment changes with the seasons, with walnut, apple, maple, lime and Chinese palm trees announcing the colours, all in a semi-wild setting. Further down is a hectare of woodland in a former quarry. Occasionally a squirrel peeks out, especially at nut time, or a roe deer in search of a few apples. A lawn area with a forest table for an aperitif, a coffee break, a picnic-style meal or more, as well as garden furniture to set up on the south-facing terrace, where in February it is sometimes possible to enjoy a meal in the sun, all in a relaxing setting.To ensure you have a real holiday, we have decided not to install wifi. This will make your family get-togethers even more enjoyable. The interior is convivial, sober and modern, designed for 5 to 6 people maximum, the kitchen is inviting for breakfast or around the chef of the day if one of you feels the culinary fibre, everything is there and in its place, even if you live outside in the summer, an evening by the fire in autumn or winter has its charm. An Italian shower in the spacious, well-appointed bathroom will be appreciated both in the morning and when you return from a swim or a hike. You will need to go upstairs to access : A bedroom with a 140x190 bed overlooking the garden, a chest of drawers and a low storage unit, a large bedroom with three 90x190 beds and a chest of drawers, and a large dressing room en suite, a small bedroom with a 90x190 bed, all very bright and which can be blacked out for those who like to sleep in the dark, you will also find a cot available.
