The holiday home, "Gîte Lamarmette", rated 4*, is an invitation to tranquillity and well-being in the heart of a 10-hectare rural estate, a quiet, secluded spot just a dozen kilometres from the town of Bergerac . It's the ideal place for those looking to get away from it all and immerse themselves in the beauty and riches of the Dordogne. Make this gîte your home away from home for an unforgettable stay and a relaxing holiday. The "Lamarmette" gîte welcomes you in 150 m² of space, in the style of a tasteful, modern country house. Lovingly renovated in 2024, the house has retained its old-world charm with stone walls and wooden beams, while incorporating all modern conveniences. There is a dining room with a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, a spacious living room with sofas, armchairs and a large satellite TV with internet access, a large conservatory opening onto the garden, a large, comfortable bedroom with a king-size double bed (180 x 200 cm) and en suite shower room with wc. A second bedroom on the first floor has a king-size bed (180x190cm) and a separate bathroom (bath, WC). The kitchen is fully equipped for a practical and pleasant stay. Outside, the glazed veranda invites you to dine al fresco with a breathtaking view over the garden. The 5 x 11 m covered private swimming pool, open in July and August, awaits you to make the most of the fine weather. Part of the garden is enclosed, allowing pets to stretch their legs in complete safety. There is also a large shed with a table tennis table, table football and a wood-fired barbecue, as well as a car park on the property equipped with a charging point for Tesla type 2 electric vehicles. Situated in the heart of the Dordogne, Gîte Lamarmette is the ideal base from which to explore Bergerac, its vineyards and the surrounding area, which is rich in history and offers easy access to a wide range of tourist attractions in the region. All day-to-day amenities are just 5kms away in the small town of Lalinde, 1km from the gîte in the village of Lanquais a renowned restaurant welcomes you, and for those looking for entertainment, golf, horse riding, walks around Lake Lanquais and the Dordogne River are also nearby.
