This charming holiday home is located in the heart of a pedestrian-friendly hamlet made up of several small houses, at the foot of the Carteret dunes and close to the seaside resort's lighthouse. An ideal, quiet location just a few minutes from the first sandy beach. The pretty, bright living area offers direct access to the terrace and the small, fenced garden with a southwest orientation. Out of season, the closed fireplace provides pleasant warmth. You have free access to the 3 shared tennis courts and basketball court that belong to the small private hamlet.

Barneville-Carteret is a pretty seaside resort with two harbours and three superb beaches, all of which have been awarded the Blue Flag for their water quality and environmental management. Due to the influence of the Gulf Stream, the water here is slightly warmer. Blue-white bathing cabins complete the picturesque atmosphere of the seaside resort, which was already popular at the turn of the last century, as many Art Nouveau holiday villas still testify today. The Cotentin peninsula doesn't just have its magnificent Normandy landscapes to offer. Visit the Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg (oceanographic museum), the small village of Barfleur, considered one of the most beautiful villages in France, the port town of Granville or take a day trip to the famous monastery of Mont St Michel.
