Close to Montpellier, in the heart of the village of ASSAS, our family winegrower's house, built in 1920, is located in the Pic-st-loup vineyards. A typical southern village with shops just 2 minutes' walk away. Under a hundred-year-old lime tree, you can relax by the pool. We have preserved the charm of the house, with its original cement tiles, while integrating comfort and modernity. The air-conditioning will ensure you have a comfortable night's sleep. Completely renovated in 2019, this house plunges you into the life of yesteryear, giving you the impression of stepping back in time. However, this is only an impression, as all the modern comforts you would expect are present. A change of scenery guaranteed. The area is very quiet, and the summer kitchen with barbecue, games room with table football and swimming pool are all at your disposal. The house has been awarded 4 stars in the furnished holiday accommodation category. Ideally situated, the house is 30 minutes from the beaches, but also 10 minutes from a lake (Lac de Cécélés) with its guinguette, a river: the Hérault (20 minutes) ideal for kayaking, not forgetting the mountains: the Pic St Loup is 15 minutes away, where you can go hiking or try your hand at hang-gliding, the Cévennes massif being a little further away at 40 minutes. To visit Montpellier, the easiest way is to take the tram from Jacou (a 5-minute drive from the village), which will take you directly to the city centre. Around the village, there are numerous paths through the garrigue, ideal for running and mountain biking, as well as a manade and a riding school nearby. The wine cooperative regularly organises tastings and theme evenings. We also offer a number of additional services: - once you have made your choice of wines (we will send you the prices), we will collect the wine from the cellar (free service) for your arrival.
