The comfortable seating area is perfect for evening television or reading a good book by the crackling fire. From here, you'll enjoy lovely views of the greenery. With the fireplace positioned in the centre of the room, its warmth reaches throughout the space. An energy-efficient heat pump provides additional heating.

The well-equipped, open-plan kitchen is perfect for creating delicious Scandinavian dishes. Amenities include a dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer. Conveniently, there's also a washing machine nearby. The practical bathroom features a shower. Adjacent are two bedrooms with double beds, while the living room sofa bed provides an additional sleeping space.

This typical Danish wooden cottage captivates with its unique location, right next to the protected heathland. Here you'll enjoy fantastic views across the vast heather landscape, surrounded by nature and fresh air. Best enjoyed from the open and partially covered terrace. Relax in the comfortable garden furniture with a good book while your children enjoy the swing or explore the grounds.

Surrounded by Rømø's diverse natural beauty

Rømø offers plenty of outdoor experiences. The best way to explore the island is by bicycle, with a trip to the beautiful sandy beach at Lakolk (1.6 miles/2,500 metres). This beach hosts the world-famous kite festival once a year. You can fly your own kites here, build sandcastles and enjoy swimming in the North Sea. The beach is also perfect for water sports or simply taking long walks along the shore.

Day trips to the mainland are also recommended. The town of Ribe, with its unique historic centre, is well worth visiting. Your children will particularly enjoy and long remember a visit to the nearby Viking village.
