Description
The moment you step through the door, you will feel the true holiday-home atmosphere in this particularly cosy and newly renovated cottage. Here you will find a charming and well-furnished living room featuring a wood-burning stove and a heat pump. Adjacent to the living room is a smaller but well-functioning kitchen. From the living room, there is access to a large terrace with quality garden furniture. The modern bathroom comes with a spacious shower. The sleeping arrangements include two cosy bedrooms – one with a double bed and one with a single bed. In addition, there are two extra sleeping places on good mattresses in the loft. TV is available via Chromecast. The house is situated on a beautiful natural plot, part of which has been left in a “rewilded” style, and offers two additional inviting terraces.
From the house, it is about a 10-minute drive to the harbour of Ebeltoft, where you will find the Glass Museum – a leading institution for contemporary glass art. The harbour also offers several good restaurants and the chance to buy freshly caught fish. A visit to the historic frigate Jylland is also highly recommended. In the cobblestoned streets of Ebeltoft’s charming old town, you will discover many exciting shops, including arts and crafts, as well as small, cosy cafés. Here you will also find the town’s most visited attraction, the Old Town Hall, where couples from near and far come to get married. From the house, it is about an hour’s drive to both the Kattegat Centre in Grenaa and Scandinavia’s largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland.
