Family friendly studio apartment with panoramic sea views in a quiet environment The house is located in a quiet area, surrounded by forest. It is an ideal destination for relaxation; halfway between the beautiful Opatija, attractive Crikvenica and the island of Krk, near by Rijeka. In the vicinity of the national parks Risnjak and Ucka Nature Park, and not far from national park Plitvice and water park Istralandia. Experience an active holiday, with promenade along the sea, fitness trail in the pinewood, water sports on beaches or visit diving club. There are few places in Europe where you can ski in the morning and dive or walk along the shore in the afternoon. One of them is Kostrena (20 km far from ski resort Platak). The 56 m2 holiday apartment is on the ground floor of the house. It has a parking place, a private entrance and a beautiful panoramic view of the Kvarner. The apartment consists of a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, dishwasher, kettle, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine (filter or espresso), toaster, with a dining area that is separated from a hall from the two sleeping areas. The sleeping areas are connected by a semi-circular arc, without doors between them. It is a family-friendly studio apartment and it is very comfortable for families with children or relatives, but it is not suitable for two couples or two single persons who need its privacy. There is also a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, shower and washing machine. A large glass wall has dense curtains and roller shutters that ensure privacy in the apartment, which is not necessarily because the terrace with seating area in front of the apartment and the swings belong exclusively to this apartment. The apartment is equipped with iron, ironing board, and hairdryer. If necessary, a cot and high chair can be added on request. The large garden is a cascading decorated with lots of stone walls so that each part has its own privacy. The kitchen area with large glass walls opens onto a courtyard, and from the apartment you can see the swings, garden and sea. In front of the apartment there are two terraces, with breathtaking, panoramic, sea view, one of them is with dining table and another one has a lounge set. Guests of the apartment can use a large garden with a number of facilities intended for entertainment of children and parents relax. There is also a free parking place in front of the apartment. There are outdoor shower and two separate sunbathing areas with deck chairs, hammocks, large trampoline, swings, arbor decorated as a garden kitchen with space for food preparation and dining. Near the garden shower is a small, circular fireplace with whom the evenings you can enjoy a crackling fire in the roasted corn, etc. The house and garden are surrounded by trees, in a quiet area, where in the evening often seen deer and squirrels. Important notice: During second part of Octobre and during Decembre in 1919., there will be some redecorations on garden stairs, therefore, some lower parts of the garden will not be available for some days (summer kitchen and trampoline). The large terrace in front of the apartment with garden chairs, swings, sandbox..., are not included in redecoration and that parts will be available all the time,and guests will be able to stay in the area without disturbance. A high chair and children's bed is available on request. All facilities are on 3-5 minutes by car: beaches, restaurants, groceries, post office, exchange office, doctor, pharmacy, gas station, tourist office, etc. Our peninsula is about 10 kilometers long, surrounded by greenery and beautiful beaches sunlit until the dusk. 4 km long promenade stretches along the coast. With its rich cuisine you can also find diving club, sailing club and many others. The beach is about 750 metres away. The most beaches are accessible via a ramp so that, e.g. prams and handcarts can be taken along. The supermarket is 1 km from the apartment and the smaller one is aproximately 500 m away. There is a big shopping center aproximately 4 km from the apartment. Cool off in the sea and enjoy the beaches in the small coves. Experience an active holiday, with promenade along the sea, water sports , fitness trail in the pinewood and taste the fish restaurants. There are some tips what to do in Kostrena:: - Those who enjoy hiking and walking will find trim trails through the pine woods with panoramic sea views nearby. You can take a look on archeological sites nearby. - There is also a long seaside promenade with rich gastronomy. - For those who enjoy water sports, Kostrena water sports offfering Jet ski, water skiing, mono ski, wakeboard, tube and kauch... - There are many clubs near by, such as diving klub, sailing club, underwater activities club, etc. - Those who like wellness can go to Opatija or Crikvenica. - Those who like pools can use Pools near to the sea, in Kantrida, Rijeka. - For windsurfers there is a Windsurfing in Preluk, Rijeka - Who likes hangouts can go to Rijeka (7 km) or Opatija. - There is a Trsat, a part of the city of Rijeka, situated on a hill above Rijeka (8 km from Kostrena) that offers a spectacular view of the entire Kvarner. It is an ideal place for a walk, for having a coffee and sightseeing. - The Astronomical Centre Rijeka is just 5 km from the apartment. It includes a planetarium, an observatory, multimedia workshop, a café, and a panoramic terrace at the roof of the building. Etc.
